Sherlock

Read this short post in an English accent. Cheers! :)

Just finished Season 3, Episode 3 (The Last Vow) of Sherlock and have been watching it every night since finals ended. I thought I would skip over the Sherlock Uncovered episodes (the behind-the-scenes goings-on) at the end of Season 3, but alas, I'm glad I watched them too. By the way, this is the BBC rendition of Sherlock Holmes I'm talking about, adapted from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's series, and it is SO GOOD. Benedict Cumberbatch is such a good actor. Really remarkable. So is Martin Freeman!

The number... not just the number... but the density of the lines Benedict has to remember is just mind-blowing. And it's not just memorizing and regurgitating, but it's really bringing the entire script alive. Much respect. For Benedict, Martin, Andrew Scott (who plays Moriarty, (spoiler alert!) the evil mastermind), Una Stubbs (who plays the ever-lovely Mrs. Hudson—Sherlock and John's "not-your-housekeeper"-landlady), all the other actors and actresses, the directors, producers, writers of the show, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle himself...

I'll be nostalgic when I finish the series—and so shall savor what I've got left.
